With heavy rain possible all week I am just figuring next Sunday's fields will be too wet so going to wait the extra week to the 31st.

I will do the schedule once I confirm what teams want to play. Please e-mail me back before Tuesday night Jan 19th and let me know if your teams wants in the same playoff format on the 31st.
After Tuesday night your team will be dropped from the final playoff round on the 31st.

I am still waiting for one final score to post the final seedings.

Note for Valencia HS Field.... There will be a $3.00 Gate Fee for all fans.
They also have a quality snack bar with hot dogs, drinks and coffee and more.
Valencia HS is helping us avoid having to have more 9:00am games on Saturday so please support
there program and snack bar. They are a BIG HELP for us! They are using this as a small fundraiser.

Tournament Series Rules:

CCYB - Nations Tournament rules...
all divisions 12 and under...(These rules may be updated later in the week.)
7 innings, 1 hour 50 minute no new inning time limit. Extra innings will be played if time allows under time limit. No infield practice or hitting balls into chain link fence. 10 run mercy rule after 4 innings. Slide or avoid major contact. Two out courtesy runner for the Catcher or Pitcher. Pitcher may throw total of 8 innings over two days. All teams must keep a pitching chart with all innings pitched for all of their pitchers. Home team is official scorekeeper and must report final score to tournament hotline message center at 714-993-2838. Tournament uses rules of High School Federation rules, with the option to use a EH and or bat the roster. Each team must provide two game balls per game. Tournament director can update the rules, make any judgement on penalty for ejections or change the schedule as needed at any time. Teams may start game with as few as 7 players. No protests are allowed. No metal cleats allowed in 12u divisions unless both teams playing agree to them.
A starter may re-enter once in the same spot in the batting order. Playoff seedings will be determined as follows:

1. Best record. If still tied then:
2. Head to head. (Not used if all teams tied did not play each other or
all beat each other) If still tied then:
3. Least runs allowed. If still tied then:
4. Highest run differential. (Max 8 per game) If still tied then:
5. Coin flip.
THE CCYB DIRECTOR AT HIS DISCRETION WILL RULE ON ALL OTHER RULES NOT COVERED. Winner of the coin flip has choice of being home or visitor, and choice of dugout, exception being complex host team may occupy dugout of choice.
