All managers should e-mail us at CCYBnet@aol.com for the updated phone list. Please give your team name and age level. This will also get you on the team mailing list for needed league information.

When sending CCYB E-mails, please always give your name, team name and age level. We deal with over 200 teams so it is easy to get mixed up.

E-mail us if you need a phone number to confirm a game as we will not have the league phone lists ready as soon as you will need them. Please e-mail all your game scores. Always include team name and age level.

Step #2 ... Add a new team for the 2011 season. ($45.00 National Fee.)

You can add players anytime you wish once you have added your team.

Step #3... Decide if you need insurance or not. If you do not purchase their insurance policy (You do not have to.) you just need to upload your policy and send it in so they know your team is covered. You can upload yours anytime before your team plays in a event. .... Nations has a great and easy insurance program if you need it. Its very easy to sign up for and you can print your policy within seconds of signing up for it.

Please....
All CCYB teams need to confirm there games with the other team. Once you have confirmed the game with the other team,
you must e-mail CCYBnet@aol.com and let us know that your game has been confirmed.

Confirm with the other team before e-mailing CCYB. Please don't copy us on the confirmation process as it gets confusing
on us wether or not the game has been confirmed. This will help the umpires, families, players, etc know that this
game will take place as scheduled. CCYB will schedule all umpires for CCYB games.


Game length.
18U - 13U: 7 innings with no new inning after 2 hours 15 minutes
12U - 11U: 7 innings with no new inning after 2 hours 5 minutes
10U: 7 innings with no new inning after 2 hours 5 minutes
8U - 9U: 6 innings with no new inning after 2 hours 5 minutes
(If game runs over to within 10 minutes of the next scheduled game the umpire can call the game in order
to not effect the next scheduled game. Time between innings should not be more than 2 minutes or 5 warm up pitches.)



Note:
We are just starting to post teams schedule info that have sent in the CCYB entry form and league payment.
Due to the expected high amount of teams this season we are just starting the schedule process earlier than
normal. We will be posting and updating teams info as we get the entry form and payment in the mail.
The first few weeks of the league we do not take schedule requests as it really slows down our schedule
process. We will start posting scheduled games on Sept 1st. We can add teams after the Sept 1st deadline, you
just need to mail in the CCYB entry form and payment As soon as we get it we will add your team.

Play-Offs News & Notices:


We DO NOT take ANY PLAYOFF GAME REQUESTS. Host team goes in the 1st and 3rd game slot in the 3 team pools. If you can't make your posted game, we will drop your team from the playoffs.

Teams may be left out of playoffs if they do not have a current roster posted on nations-baseball.com. Jack Thomas is the Chief Umpire. He will handle any problems reported to him. 310-962-7182.

Playoffs are just like the regular season. CCYB gets umpires, teams split the cost.
Winner of the pool advances. Tie breaker: Head to head, runs against, run differential (max 15 per game), coin flip.

If we get rain problems we will cancel the playoff format and possibly not have a league champion.

PLEASE CONFIRM ALL YOUR GAMES! If teams drop from the playoffs, we put other teams that did not make it in there spot. It is very common that teams did not expect to make the playoffs and have made other plans without telling CCYB.

If you can host a 3 team pool please let us know via e-mail. You will need to host 3 games. Host team plays the 1st and 3rd games.

We normally have pools of 3 teams each. (Each team will play two games) Winner of the pool advances to the next week championship day.

CCYB awards 15 Championship and 15 Runner up t-shirt awards to each of the final two teams. Since we have Championship games all over Southern California, we have the host field give out the shirts after the final game. We do not have a typical award ceremony so teams will need to do that on their own.

Playoff schedule will be posted by Wednesday night. Rules are the same as regular league play. Pools are made via ability to host, location, competition and other factors. Too many factors keep us from doing just via on season won/loss records.

If your team does not make the play-offs, please feel free to e-mail us and we will post that your looking for a game. We try to set up all the teams with games.
