Teams can then pick them back up after tuesday nights

Series rules...All fans in attendance must
purchase a credential for that day or team will
forfeit its game. |
| Note:
There is a $5.00 admission donation for everyone
over 10 years of age at all the sites per day. This
charge is collected at each game site and goes to
help host a quality tournament. Credentials are
sold for each field, each day and must be shown
in full view for staff to see. Failure of any team
to support this policy risks forfeiting games. Team
players in uniform are free and coaching staff (4
max) receive a credential valid for the entire tournament
free of charge. Please remind and encourage your
supporters to support this yearly tournament tradition. |

rules may be updated later in the week.)
12 & under is 6 innings, no new inning after
1 hour 55 minutes. (No metal cleats in all age levels
12 and under) 13 & over is 7 innings, no new
inning after 2 hours. Game time starts at first
warm-up pitch from the home team pitcher from the
mound, or when umpire starts the official game time.
Extra innings will be played if time allows under
time limit. No infield practice or hitting balls
into chain link fence. 10 run mercy rule after 4
innings. Slide or avoid major contact. Two out courtesy
runner for the Catcher or Pitcher. Pitcher may throw
total of 8 innings over two days.
All teams must keep a pitching chart with all innings
pitched for all of their pitchers. Home team
is official scorekeeper and must report final score
to the home plate umpire & tournament hotline
message center at 714-993-2838. Tournament uses
rules of High School Federation rules, with the
option to use a EH and or bat the roster. Both teams
will provide 2 game balls and each team must provide
extra game balls as needed. Tournament director
can update the rules, make any judgement on penalty
for ejections or change the schedule as needed at
any time. Teams may start game with as few as 7
players. No protests are allowed. CCYB league age
rules in effect. No 8th grade 15 yr olds allowed
in 14 yr old age level. JO age levels valid for
16's.
A starter may re-enter once in the same spot in
the batting order. Playoff seedings will be determined
as follows:
1. Best record. If still tied then:
2. Head to head. (Not used if all teams tied did
not play each other or
all beat each other) If still tied then:
3. Least runs allowed. If still tied then:
4. Highest run differential. (Max 8 per game) If
still tied then:
5. Coin flip. |
| THE
CCYB DIRECTOR AT HIS DISCRETION WILL RULE ALL OTHER
RULES NOT COVERED. Winner of the coin flip has choice
of being home or visitor, and choice of dugout,
exception being complex host team may occupy dugout
of choice. This coin flip system includes the playoffs.
Teams that drop after the deadline of July 1st will
not receive a refund if we can not find a replacement
team. |
